Pitching Lessons

Charles Scott has more than 17 years of baseball playing experience as a pitcher in high school, college and 9 years as a player for three major league organizations.  In addition, Charles has 9 years of experience as a scout and regional scouting supervisor.  Charles knows the most crucial part of any team is its pitching.

Charles earned All Star honors in Long A in the Midwest league and High A in the Carolina League, where he also led the league in ERA. In 1988 he was promoted to AA and added to the Cleveland Indians Major League Roster. Stellar performance warranted consecutive invites to Major League spring camps where he competed with and against some of the major leagues finest talent: Mark McGwire, Randy Johnson, Gary Sheffield, Robin Yount, Paul Molitor and Ken Griffey, Jr.

His experience as both a player and baseball trainer is sought out because Charles brings a wealth of knowledge around pitching and caring for the ‘pitching arm.’ Charles will work to improve arm action, mechanics and pitching velocity – by building an explosive delivery that uses the lower body to build a long stride.
